Welcome to North County Serenity House, Inc (NCSH). We are a team of dedicated professionals who strive for excellence as we work together to accomplish our mission. Our staff has a well deserved reputation in the community for using and developing "best practices" to provide high quality services in our commitment to providing a safe, secure environment for women, and families, some with co-occurring disorders, who desire to recover from drug and alcohol dependencies. FT Treatment Counselor for 140 bed facility. Duties include intake, tx planning, counseling and case mgmt. Shift: 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday Minimum 1 year AOD experience and AOD certification (CAS, CADAAC, CADE) Experience with homeless and perinatal populations preferred. Dual recovery experience a plus. Salary: DOE; Excellent benefits. Special reqs: clean DMV, insured transportation, TB test, medical clearance and fingerprint clearance.
FT Graveyard Counselor Provide a safe and secure environment for Serenity House. Handle and report emergency situations that arise, perform room checks and monitor grounds to ensure safety and security, follow paperwork reqs and perform other duties as assigned. Appropriate knowledge and understanding of substance abusers needs and issues. Six months minimum exp required and/or AOD classes; certified or working toward CAS, CADE or CADAAC certification. Experience with perinatal population preferred. Hours: Wed-Sun 11 pm to 7:30 am; Salary DOE; Excellent benefits. Special reqs: clean DMV, insured transportation, TB test, medical clearance and fingerprint clearance.
