NCSH is honored to be among the exceptional individuals and community agencies recognized at this event.

North County Serenity House sincerely thanks all of our partners who helped make Serenity Village a reality. Funding for Serenity Village was provided by State of California, Emergency Housing and Assistance Program (EHAP); City of Escondido, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program and Redevelopment Agency funds; County of San Diego, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program; The California Endowment; Weingart-Price Fund; The Parker Foundation; WebMD Health Foundation; Lawrence Welk Family Foundation; Bernard and Darlene Fauber Foundation; Las Patronas; County Supervisor Pam Slater-Price; County Supervisor Bill Horn; QUALCOMM, Inc.; and many, many other local businesses and individuals. Also, a special thank you to our local Escondido businesses, residents, and neighbors who have welcomed, supported, and celebrated this project.

Escondido Rotary Club at Work Day Volunteers Spruce up Serenity House Children's play area!

On April 26, volunteers painted the stucco back wall of the children’s play area as well as the sidewalk 'road' where children can zoom on toys or run around. At noon, volunteers read Dr. Seuss books to the 25 children and ice-cream party was provided for all!

Thanks to the generous gift of their time and materials, the Escondido Rotary at Work Day Volunteers have provided children at North County Serenity House Center a spruced up, friendlier place to play.
